Opaque ruby. An expansive bouquet evokes fresh black and blue fruits, potpourri and smoky bacon, along with hints of olive, licorice and cracked pepper. Offers concentrated, mineral- and spice-accented blackberry and bitter cherry flavors that show fine delineation and take on a smoky nuance as the wine opens up. Finishes broad, spicy and very long, with youthfully chewy tannins and a strongly persistent, floral note.
