A one-off blend, all from grands crus.
On the lighter side for a grand cru, with subtle lime and herbal characters, beeswax and a touch of slate. There’s good flavour intensity, suggesting the wine will open with air and/or time in bottle. Not the most immediate crowd-pleaser, but it is classic, savoury Riesling with impeccable pedigree. (RH)
