Robert Parker (93)
The violet and blueberry-scented, medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Musigny has a medium to full-bodied personality. It bursts from the glass with massive waves of raspberries, plums, hints of fig, and licorice. This is an opulent, sweet, lush, and softly textured wine that is super-ripe. Its firm, tannic backbone is encased in loads of sur-maturite fruit.
