A firm, minerally sparkling rosé, with a plush quality to the fine mousse and a detailed flavor range of dried black cherry and raspberry fruit, chopped almond and aromatic hints of dried flowers and herbs. Reveals saline tang that cleans the finish. Disgorged winter 2022 to 2023. Drink now through 2029.

Sweet rose, licorice, dried strawberries and incense form a seductive bouquet as the MV Extra Brut Rosé Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige 45 Edizione blossoms in the glass. This shows its minerality up front, perfectly balanced by waves of plush, massaging bubbles that give way to suggestions of tart cherry. It finishes dramatically long with a hard red candy flourish as a bump of residual acidity keeps the mouth watering. (Lot# 23079D01 Winter 22/23)
