With this 21-year-old Foursquare, we present a reflection of craftsmanship, tradition, and the pure expression of Barbados Rum.
TASTING NOTES
Nose:
Cardamom and nutmeg are intertwined, supported by a bouquet of wild heather flowers and honeycomb, with red fruits breaking through the aromas.
Palate:
Soft and floral with subtle notes of marzipan and honey. A gentle spiciness lingers in the background, but never becomes overpowering.
Finish:
A dry, long finish with licorice tones and the subtle character of aniseed.
Balance and Complexity:
This rum scores highly for its complexity, with subtle notes and a non-dominant spiciness. It is perfectly balanced between the nose and palate, thanks in large part to the floral notes.
