Cask sample. Reticent nose. Very sweet start and no sense of a lesser grand cru. But it’s already quite open on the palate with some blackberry fruit. Some superior weight. (JR)
Jasper Morris (95)
A blend from Echezeaux du Dessus and Poulaillères, with a little from the Clos St-Denis sector. 30% whole bunch vinification. Mid crimson in colour. Perfumed like the Suchots but with a little more depth of fruit, then plums and red berries, with good length.
