Winespectator (91)
Gorgeous aromas of crushed berries, cinnamon and plum. Full-bodied, very silky and very seductive. Wonderful wine.–’95/’96 Bordeaux retrospective.
Rene Gabriel (18)
Lightening wine red with final garnet reflections. Great Médoc bouquet with typical Cabernet spice, a hint of cedar and a fine hint of pepper. It is surprisingly concentrated. Fleshy on the palate, good substance and still fine reserves, still slightly pithy in the extract. To be enjoyed now without haste.
