Bethel Heights • Chardonnay Estate – 2017
The 2017 Chardonnay Estate gives aromas of toast, fresh quince, golden apples, wet hay, hazelnut and honey with notes of jasmine and white peach. Medium-bodied, it has a sleek, rounded texture and intense savory fruits, refreshed by lip-smacking acidity and finishing long and honeyed.
Bethel Heights • Pinot Noir Estate – 2021
Matured in 25% new oak, the 2021 Pinot Noir Estate has a medium ruby-purple color and scents of blueberries, cranberries, woodsmoke, pipe tobacco and burnt orange peel. The light-bodied palate is austere with mineral-driven fruit, bright acidity, chalky tannins and a slight bitterness on the finish. There’s a rusticity to this wine that’s unusual for Bethel Heights.
