Winespectator (89)
A mouthful of fruit in this full-bodied red, featuring masses of mint, berry and cherry flavors, velvety tannins and long finish. One of the best ’91s. Really delicious for the Médoc in an off year.

Only in direct comparison with other large Las-Cases does it show its true greatness! Bright wine-red colour, surprisingly few ripe tones. Slightly ethereal bouquet, notes of cooked chocolate, candy, almost ripe black plums. Elegant, juicy on the palate with an astonishing amount of fun potential. Has held up very well.
