The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Perclos, the only white to be racked, has a light bouquet with yellow plum and green apple scents. It’s not powerful, but nicely defined. The palate is well-balanced with a slightly waxy texture, fine acidity, and a little stem ginger towards the finish. An easy-going Chassagne-Montrachet to enjoy over the next 5-8 years.
Jasper Morris (91)
A clear fresh lemon with a chiselled clear cut limestone nose. Pretty with lemony notes, some elegance, not massive in power, enough acidity and lingers well on the palate. There is no new wood and this elegant Chassagne-Montrachet does not need it.
