A slightly riper and faintly exotic nose combines notes of citrus confit, white peach, Asian-style tea and notes of green apple. The rich, concentrated and powerful larger-bodied flavors possess excellent depth and persistence on the compact and built-to-age finish that is borderline tannic. This is almost always the best 1er in the Fontaine range and so it is again in 2021.
